New Jersey Mom Of 3 Murdered Her Toddler Son Because He Was Getting In The Way Of Her Affair

Peter went on to say, “And witnesses also told detectives that the defendant had expressed the sentiment that her toddler son, the victim A.R., was an obstacle to her relationship with her boyfriend.”

Shortly after Axel passed away, Heather’s 41-year-old husband Joseph Reynolds died just months later in November.

It’s not clear how he passed or what his cause of death was.

His obituary reads that he was the beloved husband of Heather Reynolds.

Heather is currently in Camden County Jail, awaiting her trial. She has been denied bail. Her official charges are as follows:

First-degree murder charges, second-degree child endangerment charges, third-degree hindering arrest charges, and third-degree possession of methamphetamine charges.

On Heather’s own social media accounts, she has nothing but photos with her children and appears to be one loving mom.

Friends and family members can be seen posting messages of support on her social media channels, even after her arrest. Not everyone thinks she is guilty of murdering Axel.

Some of her supporters have posted their own tributes to the 17-month-old online, remembering him as a sweet little boy who always liked to smile.

One of Heather’s relatives took to Facebook to share their sorrow in Axel’s passing and had this to say:

A judge has ruled that Heather is going to remain in jail, and has also noted that this mom of three will potentially be serving a life sentence in prison.

Of course, Heather Reynolds is still innocent until actually proven guilty.
