It’s incredibly frustrating when people who cheat have the audacity to lie about it and pretend it doesn’t mean anything, as it insinuates that their partner is a fool. In those cases, the cheaters need to be called out.
One man recently exposed his cheating girlfriend by calling her out in a speech during her birthday party.
He’s 27 and has been with his 26-year-old girlfriend, Sarah, for three years. For most of their relationship, he thought things were going very well. They were close, had fun together, and even talked about getting married and building a home.
Then, everything changed a few months ago when Sarah started behaving differently around him. She’d come home late at night drunk, hide her phone from him, and avoid spending time with him.
“With time, my gut feeling kept nagging me, so I decided to do some investigating just to seek the truth,” he said.
“One night while she was drunk [and] asleep, I went through her phone and checked her chats with her best friend.”
Through Sarah’s texts with her friend, he discovered that she had been cheating on him with one of his good friends, and he was shocked.
The next morning, he confronted Sarah about the affair and showed her the texts he had read. She brushed it off like it was nothing, telling him she and her friend were only joking. He had a feeling that wasn’t the case but didn’t push her any further.
A few days later, Sarah had a birthday party with all their friends and family, including the friend she saw behind his back.
As he watched his friend and Sarah interact, he knew he didn’t want to keep their secret inside any longer, as he would just get hurt. So, when everyone began making speeches for Sarah at the party, he was the last to take the mic and decided to expose her.
“When it was my turn, I talked about trust and loyalty, and then I dropped the bombshell,” he said.
“I let everyone know that she was cheating and even sent the messages to her birthday group so everyone could see. Everyone was shocked. She felt embarrassed and ran out crying.”
While he felt slightly relieved, all of their friends and family turned against him for humiliating Sarah at her birthday party, and now he won’t stop getting angry texts and calls.
