“I was absolutely crushed,” she explained.
“And it took all of my strength, but I moved out immediately. I tried to start again and even started dating.”
Within just a few days of being separated, though, her husband became desperate and did everything he could to win her back. He cut off his relationship with the other woman, went to couples counseling, and started making “massive declarations of love.”
In fact, she claimed that her husband made her so many promises for their life together and convinced her that the cheating was just a mistake made out of grief, loneliness, and suffering.
Her husband also swore that the affair had only gone on for a few months– in spite of his affair partner knowing all about her and her marriage.
Regardless, it appears as though her husband’s efforts worked– because she wound up taking him back for a short amount of time.
During that period, she told her husband that she would give him three months to change.
It just so happened, though, that within those three months, she changed contraceptives and actually became pregnant.
Now, at first, she couldn’t believe it– and was not confident that the pregnancy would last. She even admitted to “waiting to miscarry” throughout the pregnancy.
But, the nine months passed without issue, and she eventually gave birth to her first child– a beautiful baby boy.
At that point, she was obviously over the moon and decided that it was time to give her marriage a real second chance.
