Earlier this year, 34-year-old mom to two children Irina Sinelnikova from Berdsk, Russia, went to meet someone interested in buying her car.
The men who murdered her strangled Irina, electrocuted her, and then disposed of her body.
They then sold her car, a Peugeot 407, for just 1,800 euros ($2008.43).
Police have arrested the two men they suspect murdered this mom, Dmitry Fursov and Stanislav Belousov, and now they are standing trial for her murder.
Weirdly enough, Stanislav’s wife Rita Belousova was one of the volunteers who campaigned hard to find out what happened to Irina.
She reportedly was appalled and shocked to hear that her husband ended up being someone suspected of killing Irina.
Police are saying that these 3 women are not just the only ones who have been targeted and that this is turning into a disturbing new trend.
They are also cautioning women to not go alone to meet someone they want to sell a car to or buy a car from.
