Moms are supposed to love and protect and care for their children. They’re supposed to be there to help them go and grow through life.
They’re supposed to be the support system for their children; the person that always pulls through for them.
This Mom abandoned her young children for over a week and left them to die in their own home.

Vladislava Podchapko was a 20-year-old Mom.
She had 2 children, a 2-year-old daughter, Anya, and a 23-month-old son, Daniil.
They lived together in an apartment in Kiev, Ukraine.

Vladislava left both her children home alone for over a week.
She left them for 9 days, to be exact.
She didn’t try to get them a babysitter.
She didn’t tell anyone they were home alone.
She just left them.
Here’s why this Mom abandoned her kids for 9 days

She left both her young children home alone for 9 days so that she could go spend time with her lover.
On social media, Vladislava posted tons of photos of her daughter and son, along with lots of messages proclaiming she loved them.
Yet, she left them alone without food or adult supervision so she could be with a guy.

Her children reportedly ripped the wallpaper off the apartment walls because they were so desperate to escape the apartment.
The terrified children also ripped up the linoleum on the floor by the apartment door.
Vladislava only left them a few chocolates to eat before she took off.

Neighbors claimed that they heard both her children crying in the mornings and evenings in the apartment.
They said they called the local authorities, who did not respond.
Whatever actually happened, we do know these poor terrified children didn’t get any help, and after their Mom returned this is what happened.

The youngest had passed away after 6 days of being alone without food.
His older sister, nearly 3, had then had to be in the apartment with his dead body for days after that, until her Mom returned.
When authorities found the girl, she was barely alive due to starvation.

This is what Vladislava said about what she did & you won’t believe it
This Mom, who was also discovered to be pregnant with a third child at the time of the incident, said this about what she did:
“I didn’t know that children could die.”
I’m sorry, if you don’t know children could die due to being left alone without food and neglected, you are not fit to be a Mom.
How does this end?
Anya somehow survived this horrific ordeal and the child also was able to recover from the severe starvation. If her biological father can’t care for her, she will be placed up for adoption most likely.
As for Vladislava, she’s facing 8 years in prison.
The Ukrainian public is calling for the death penalty due to her terrible neglect of both of these poor babies.
