This past New Year’s Eve, TikToker Jameelah Frazier (@essencecreations27) was driving for Lyft in Chicago. She received a ride request from a location that used to be a church.
When she arrived, she saw a strange gathering of people with dark hair who were wearing cloaks and heavy eyeliner. There was also a red glow emanating from the building.
Four men got into her car, and as soon as they entered, she felt chills run down her spine. When she turned around and looked at them, she immediately knew they were vampires. There were two brunettes and two blondes in the group. They all had piercing blue eyes and extremely pale skin that lacked warmth.
Jameelah started to panic. The blonde man sitting behind her reached out to touch her shoulder, and she calmed down instantly. She felt relaxed and almost like she was in a trance. The guy told her that their cars were just a few blocks away. Before they arrived, they wanted to ask her a question that she had to think about very carefully.
She got the impression that her answer would mean the difference between her life and her death. The blonde man told her that they had driven two separate cars and wanted to know how she would group them together.
He asked her who should ride with who. Jameelah glanced back at them and saw they were smiling and giggling. Their canine teeth were slightly more pronounced than regular human teeth.
When she made a remark about how they were vampires, the blonde man responded in confirmation without moving his lips. She heard his answer in her head. Ultimately, she grouped the opposite hair colors together. The guy asked why she chose to do that, and she told him that it just felt right.
Fortunately, they liked her answer and assured her that she would get home safely that night. After they left her vehicle, they gave her the biggest tip she received all night. Then, she drove a few more people around and made it home without any incidents.
In the comments section, several TikTok users shared stories about their own encounters with vampires, while others expressed their doubt over the existence of supernatural beings.
“Definitely vampires in Chicago. I saw three inside the Art Institute of Chicago. They knew [that] I knew and found it amusing,” commented one user.
“I believe you. You can feel the energy. I met a vampire in San Francisco in 1988. When I was in Seville, Spain, last summer, I felt the same presence everywhere. I kept saying, ‘vampires live here,'” stated another.
“No, because I’m CONVINCED I served lunch to a vampire at a restaurant I worked at in the Chicago suburbs. He appeared out of nowhere, ate inside on a hot, sunny day, ordered red wine and a RARE steak,” shared a third.
“Why would vampires need an Uber? Aren’t they like rich, sparkly, and impossibly fast?” questioned a fourth.
“You just met some people from Sweden,” wrote someone else.
