Justin Timberlake rose to fame as one of the most iconic figures in pop culture, particularly beloved by millennials. His journey to stardom began at a young age when he appeared on “Star Search” and later joined the cast of “The Mickey Mouse Club” alongside future stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Ryan Gosling.
His first big break came when he joined NSYNC, a boy band formed in 1995. NSYNC quickly became a global phenomenon, known for their catchy songs, impressive dance routines, and charismatic performances. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1998, included hits like “I Want You Back” and “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” which solidified their place in pop history.
The group’s success continued with their second album, “No Strings Attached” (2000), featuring the smash hit “Bye Bye Bye,” and “Celebrity” (2001), which included “Pop” and “Gone.”
In 2002, he went off on his own, and he’s still performing to this day. His Forget Tomorrow World Tour literally starts tomorrow in Chicago.
But, there’s one thing that might throw a wrench in the plans: he ended up getting arrested for a DWI in Sag Harbor, New York, on Tuesday.
According to the arrest report, Justin maintained that he had one drink while out with his friends. The arresting officer claimed to have witnessed Justin drive through a stop sign in his 2025 BMW.
He also noted that Justin failed “to keep on the right side of the roadway,” and his eyes appeared “bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
Justin refused to take a breathalyzer test. He was held overnight and was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two additional citations: one for failure to keep in lane and one for running a stop sign.
Page Six Reports that the officer who arrested Justin had no clue about how famous he is, let alone why we millennials love him so much.
“The cop didn’t know who he was at first,” a source informed Page Six. “Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’ The cop replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘The world tour.'”
