This 28-year-old woman is engaged and set to tie the knot next month. She cannot wait for her wedding day, which is going to be filled with family, friends, and love.
There’s just one issue: her best friend Sarah, who’s 29. For some context, Sarah supposedly tends to make everything about herself.
“I love Sarah, but she has a habit of turning every event into a photoshoot for her social media,” she detailed.
Unfortunately, that was no different when it came to her nuptials, either. While they were recently talking, Sarah began discussing how she wanted to coordinate her outfit with the theme of her wedding. On top of that, Sarah apparently wanted to take “candid” photos during the ceremony.
At first, she laughed off her friend’s idea and genuinely thought Sarah was joking.
“But then, Sarah brought it up again, insisting that she would make it look ‘artistic’ and would post some of my wedding pictures with credits, of course,” she explained.
She wasn’t okay with that at all and firmly told her friend no. After all, the day was supposed to be about her and her fiancé, not anyone else or their Instagram feed.
She believed that was totally reasonable, too, yet Sarah disagreed and blew up on her.
“Sarah accused me of being selfish and said I was trying to ‘steal her moment’ since she’s been struggling with her photography career,” she revealed.

Quite frankly, she didn’t care, and she told Sarah not to come at all if she was going to behave that way. This sparked a big argument between them, and she’s been getting called all types of names. Plus, Sarah is even saying that she’s a “horrible” friend.
“Because I won’t let her express herself on what she claims is a perfect platform for her talent,” she vented.
Sarah has since filled their other friends in on the situation as well, and most of them think she’s in the wrong for being unsupportive.
Now, she can’t help but wonder if not wanting her best friend to turn her wedding into a personal photoshoot is really that crazy.
Would you ever dream of having a photoshoot in the middle of your friend’s nuptials? Should Sarah be uninvited?
