All of a sudden, the police car slammed into her minivan, and it was doing close to 100 miles per hour. It wasn’t an officer driving the police car, it was Raymond Walters Jr.
Raymond had been recently released from prison and somehow managed to steal the police car after stabbing his father while inside a pickup truck he was driving, then crashed.
After he got a hold of the police car, he blew a red light heading down South Patterson Boulevard and came to crash it into Melissa’s minivan and a second car. He didn’t have any officers chasing him while he was recklessly driving around town.
