Krystal says he also tried to force her to take Kelsey’s charred remains with her to dump as well, but she refused to do that and doesn’t really know where she ended up.

Patrick then just headed off to eat Thanksgiving dinner with his family, as if it was a normal day. How anyone can sit down at a table and eat after doing something so terrible and disgusting is just unbelievable.

Krystal drove Kelsey’s phone out to Idaho and dumped it in order to throw police off. Before she burned the phone and disposed of it, she sent the weird text to Kelsey’s employer asking for the week off.
She also sent a text to Patrick from Kelsey’s phone asking if he even loved her. 4th District Court in Colorado has filed a complaint against Krystal to charge her with felony evidence tampering for what she did.
This complaint against her reads, “Krystal Jean Lee Kenney, believing that an official proceeding was pending or about to be instituted, and acting without legal right or authority, unlawfully and feloniously destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed or altered physical evidence with intent to impair its verity or availability in the pending or prospective official proceeding.”

Krystal recently pleaded guilty to the charges against her and admitted to tampering with evidence. She also agreed to testify against Patrick at his trial for murder.
