Jennifer Farber Dulos is a 50-year old mom of 5 children. She works as a writer, holds a master’s degree from New York University, and lives with her children in New Canaan, Connecticut. Jennifer’s father, Hilliard Farber, ran the bond trading desk at Chase Manhattan bank before he went off on his own in 1975. On Friday, May 24th, it was a normal day for her. She drove her 2017 Chevrolet Suburban that morning as she dropped her children off at school that day….but it was the last time she was seen again.
Jennifer had an appointment the day she went missing at 11 a.m. She missed it. She had another appointment at 1 p.m. She missed that one, too. At 7 p.m. that evening, two of Jennifer’s friends called the police to report this mom as missing.
At the time of this article being written, it’s now been 12 days without this mom being seen or heard from. Authorities immediately suspected Jennifer’s estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, had something to do with her strange disappearance.

Here’s everything you need to know about Jennifer’s disappearance, and why authorities are now saying Fotis and his mistress turned girlfriend killed Jennifer.
Jennifer and Fotis are technically still married. They are currently going through a pretty bitter divorce and savage custody battle. The couple used to reside in Avon and Farmington, Connecticut, and Fotis still lives in Farmington. He has currently put the house they lived in up for sale to the tune of $4.35 million dollars.

Fotis builds custom homes in affluent areas and is the CEO of Fore Group. Gloria Farber, Jennifer’s mom, has filed a lawsuit against Fotis, claiming that owes her $1.7 million dollars in loans that he has never paid back. He used the money to invest in real estate in the area.
Jennifer was the one who filed for divorce first. She sued him back in 2007, and since then there are over 500 documents that have been filed by the court, proving that this has not been an easy breakup.
Jennifer filed for divorce because she found out Fotis was cheating on her for over a year with his mistress named Michelle Troconis.
Jennifer and Fotis lived together most recently in Farmington with their 5 children. Their children range from ages 8-years-old to 13-years-old and there are two girls and three boys (two are sets of twins).
After Jennifer sued for divorce, she immediately moved herself and the children into a rental house located in New Cannan.

She has primary custody, as Jennifer told the court that Fotis tries to dangerously force their children to train for water-skiing. Fotis only gets to see their 5 children on every other weekend during supervised visits.
“We are all terrified to disobey my husband,” Jennifer also said in court documents.
There are court documents that state Jennifer feared Fotis and thought he would retaliate against her for filing for divorce. She also stated in the documents that Fotis has a gun in his possession.

“I am afraid of my Husband. I know that filing for divorce, and filing this Motion will enrage him…He is dangerous and ruthless when he believes that he has been wronged. During the course of our marriage, he told me about sickening revenge fantasies and plans to cause physical harm to others who have wronged him,” Jennifer said.
Jennifer has also said Fotis has tried to run her over in his SUV and her children witnessed it.
