When Jenelle first posted on Instagram about Nugget’s death, she didn’t say what happened. “Nugget … I’m crying every day. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” she wrote. Well, we were all left wondering what the heck caused his death, and David quickly made his own Instagram video to fill us all in.

“I dont [sic] give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” David said on Instagram. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont [sic] put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes [sic] mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”

David…there is no such thing as having to defend yourself and your family from a tiny goddamn dog. People took to social media outraged that this happened, and eventually, MTV decided to finally cut ties with Jenelle. But not before people reached out to all their advertisers to let them know what happened, and MTV lost several over what David so cruelly did to Nugget.
There is also currently an investigation into David for animal cruelty and abuse, and to top everything off? Janelle’s three kids have been taken away from her at this time and CPS is investigating. Jenelle and David have already gone to court four different times to try to get them back, but that has yet to happen.
On her podcast, Leah Messer said she wasn’t surprised that Jenelle’s kids have been taken away. “I think that what happened was coming,” Leah revealed. “I really pray and hope that the kids remain safe and, you know, have a healthy life.”
Kailyn Lowry got on Instagram to explain how she felt about everything, saying, “I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget. To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings.”

Amber Portwood took to Twitter to say what she thought. “Omg I can’t even read anymore details about this horrible incident that happened to Janelles poor dog! Ugh😰 heartbroken seriously…I hope she makes the right decision.”
