Everything You Need To Know About Maleah Davis, Part 2

Autopsy results came back that this indeed was Maleah inside the garbage bag. Authorities have not yet released her cause of death, however.

Derion told Quanell X that he had killed Maleah and then drove out to Arkansas to dump her so nobody could find her. He just pulled over on the side of the road and threw her out on the highway, where she was later discovered. Derion also told Quanell that he had snapped and just punched Maleah in the head, but he had done it more than once and Brittany had witnessed it.

Derion has confessed to being the one that killed Maleah. He also has then taken that statement back, denying that he had anything to do with what happened to this poor little girl.

It’s looking like Derion definitely did it, and Harris County District Attorney’s Office has said that they very well could charge him with more crimes, including murder.

Derion is currently still behind bars awaiting his trial. He has also been ordered to complete a mental health evaluation. Houston police have now served Verizon with a warrant for Derion’s cellphone data, including his geo-location and cell tower data so they can pinpoint exactly where he was from April 30th through May 15th.

As for Maleah’s mom, Brittany? People are saying she is covering something up and she knows more than she is telling the public.

Police said in a statement, “The Houston Police Department will continue to work diligently with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and other partners to ensure the person(s) responsible for her death, and the attempted cover-up of her death, are held responsible to the fullest extent of the law.”
